I'v...I completely agree with this entire post. I've been boasting how goo Spider-man the Ride is and comparing Disney's attractions to Spider-man with the phrase, "Until Disney does something like Spider-man, it'll always be sub-par".

I was really growing tired of rides using "video" or 3D for everything. Spider-Man completely blew my misconception of this out of the water. The blending in with 3D video, practical sets, and motion is flawless. How does Disney compare? Turtle Talk and Monsters Inc. laugh Floor? Just a big video screen. Toy Story Midway Mania? A bunch of flat walls with video screens. Nemo Subs? Albeit a little more set design, still way too much video.

Sorry, I went on a little tangent, what I was trying to say about this article is that it made me realize that I have started telling people, "If you visit WDW, you HAVE to make time to go on Spider-Man." Those that have made the time when they visit have thanked me and now always make Islands of Adventure a must see. It sounds like Harry Potter is just more fuel on the fire.

Yes, competition is good when you don't have visionaries around like Walt Disney.Subsonichttp://www.subsonicradio.com/noreply@blogger.com
